The Nanjing Jinling Primary School hosteda graduation ceremony for 42 exchange teachers and students from Victoria, Australia, on Oct 22.

Liu Lianqun, deputy director of the Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange (JESIE), addressed the ceremony. He sent his congratulations to all the exchange students and expressed his hope that the Chinese and Australian students would stay in touch in the future.

The graduation ceremony began with a chorus of "Spring Dawn" by students of both countries. The Victorian students put forward a wonderful performance featuring Chinese traditional culture including dancing to the song "Jasmine" and playing diabolo (a Chinese bodybuilding game that requires every part of the body to be in motion).

During the exchange tour, the Australian students had the chance to learn more about the rich Chinese traditional culture including poetry, folk music, acrobatics and calligraphy. They also visited local historical and cultural heritage sites like the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and the Confucius Temple.

It is the second time that JESIE has cooperated with the Victoria Principal Association in an exchange project to promote cultural exchange and build friendly relations between students of the two countries.
