The Jiangsu International Forum for School Principals is hosted by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education annually since 2005. Representatives from educational departments of other provinces and states as well as international partner organizations representing primary and secondary schools worldwide are regularly invited to the Forum.

The foreign representatives and Chinese principals debate issues related to basic education in their regions, share experiences and explore further cooperation opportunities through the platforms the Forum provides.

Starting from 2011, the Forum has been held in Jiangsu and overseas regions in alternate years. Among the countries the Forum has been successfully held so far were Canada, Australia and the UK, something that contributes to broadening Forum's international influence. Over 10 years of continuous development, the Forum has become an open collaborative network for schools and regional school groups.
