8.Jiangsu releases action plan to develop youth football
Jiangsu released the Action Plan for School Football Rejuvenation on Oct 16, 2015.
According to the plan, Jiangsu will build more than 100 grass football fields for teenagers' after-school activities, establish 1,000 football specialized schools and 10,000 registered school football players in the next five years.
9.Jiangsu universities excel in national sci-tech work competition
Jiangsu excelled in the final of the 14th "Challenge Cup" National Undergraduate Curricular Academic Science and Technology Contest held in Guangzhou on Nov 20, 2015, ranking first among all participants.
Nanjing University of Science and Technology won the Challenge Cup together with Tsinghua University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
10.10 people selected as most influential personalities of higher education in 30 years
The campaign for the "Most Influential Personalities in 30 Years' Jiangsu Higher Education" held an award ceremony in Nanjing on Dec 12, 2015. Through the Internet voting and expert reviews, 10 people including Wang Zhan, former minister of education, and Wei Yu, scientist and former vice-minister of education, won awards.
