Jiangsu universities add PhD programs on cyber security

Five universities in Jiangsu recently were approved to add the first-level discipline of cyberspace security to their PhD programs by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.
The five universities are Nanjing University, Southeast University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and PLA University of Science and Technology.
These universities are the first group of higher education institutions to add the PhD program since the Academic Degrees Committee and the Ministry of Education approved the set up of the first-level discipline of cyberspace security in June, 2015. They are expected to foster high-end talents for the further enhancement of cyberspace security in Jiangsu.
