Jiangsu adds national experiment and teaching centers

Jiangsu province has ranked second in a national list compiled by the Ministry of Education, tallying up virtual simulation experiment and teaching centers and national experimental and teaching demonstration centers in the country.
With an annual investment of 100 million yuan ($15.4 million) for university experiment and teaching center construction from 2011-15, the province boasts 63 national experimental and teaching demonstration centers, 31 national virtual simulation centers and 63 national off-campus bases for college student social activities, according to the Jiangu’s education administration.
The list also included sixteen experiment and teaching bases from the province’s top universities such as Nanjing University, Southeast University and Jiangsu University were among the lists.
Virtual simulation and demonstration centers offer immersive training environments for students. China currently has 100 virtual simulation centers and 100 demonstration centers nationwide.
