Jiangsu universities subjects included on annual rankings list

The latest ranking of the world's top university subjects has been released by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), a leading global career and education network.
While 143 subjects from 24 Chinese universities listed among global Top 100, a total of seven disciplines in Jiangsu province were included in the ranking. Nanjing University had four subjects, including chemistry, material science, architecture and earth and marine sciences, followed by Southeast University, China University of Mining and Technology and Nanjing Agricultural University
The QS World University Rankings are an annual university ranking which provide overall figures, as well as lists for individual subjects. Published since 2011, The QS World University Rankings by Subject highlight the world’s top universities in a range of popular subject areas, covering 42 subjects as of this year. The rankings are based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
