The Jiangsu Educational Press Group (JEPG), the journal publisher under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, took part in the sixth Jiangsu Book Fair, held in Yangzhou from July 8 to 12.

Four of its periodicals for young readers were displayed in the fair’s journal area, and proved popular among the visitors. The publisher also held promotional reading and experience activities, such as a maths games organized by the journal Maths for Elementary Students and a drawing competition by Pre-school Education, which helped to facilitate children’s learning through logical thinking and creativity.

In a bid to promote reading among the public, the press group donated its newspapers and magazines to some local libraries, communities and rural book stores.

Sponsored by the Jiangsu provincial government, this year’s fair attracted more than 380 publishers. JEPG, as an initiator of the “Association for Jiangsu Children’s Journal Promotion”, along with its 22 member organizations, took part in the event.
