Yancheng holds Yellow Sea Rim University Presidential Forum

On July 13, the 10th Yellow Sea Rim University Presidential Forum, an academic conference on government-industry-university-research cooperation and innovation and entrepreneurship, took place at the Yancheng Teachers University in Jiangsu.
As an important part of the 15th Yellow Sea Rim Economic and Technological Exchange Conference, the event was attended by the presidents and delegates from 15 Chinese universities and included both Japanese and South Korean universities such as the Kyushu Institute of Technology and the Incheon National University to discuss issues including talent cultivation, inter-collegiate cooperation, enterprise innovation and school-running.
Hong Liu, the deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, addressed the forum. Hong believed the university to be a frontier for talent training and scientific research and should enhance collaboration with enterprises and contribute to both technological innovation and industrial upgrading.
He hoped the forum could further strengthen the ties among the universities of the three countries and boost the government-industry-university-research cooperation.
