Jiangsu adds 18 provincial science and technology innovation platforms

As a province boasting rich educational resources, Jiangsu will establish a total of 18 new provincial science and technology innovation platforms in universities across the province. These will be aimed at developing highly-talented individuals, accumulating innovative resources and deepening industry-university research cooperation.
The newly added innovation platforms are composed of four engineering centers and 14 engineering laboratories.
The engineering centers focus on the research and development of common and key technologies and their industrial application, whereas the laboratories are committed to dealing with critical problems including key technologies and equipment, giving impetus to industrial transformation and upgrading.
