JESIE to cooperate with Wuxi on int'l education

The Jiangsu Education Service for International Exchange (JESIE) reached an agreement to strengthen international education ties with the Bureau of Education of Liangxi district, Wuxi in Jiangsu province on Mar 22.

Wang Chengbin, deputy chief of the Education Department of Jiangsu province, joined more than 100 attendees at the signing ceremony held at Wuxi Qiaoyi Experimental School.

According to the three-year agreement, JESIE will integrate its high quality international education resources with that of Liangxi district’s.

It will also launch student and teacher exchange programs, hold international training sessions, and recruit foreign teachers.

Commenting on the plan, Wang said “Both parties should bear responsibility, join hands in integrating resources in a balanced manner, and accumulate and learn from the experiences.”
