The fourth International Students Academic Forum, an annual event aimed to promote exchanges between pharmaceutical students, got underway at the Jiangning Campus of China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) on April 28.

Themed "Opportunities and Challenges Facing Young Investigators in Pharmaceutical Research," the forum attracted more than 200 students from local schools such as Southeast University and Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, and Northeast China’s Shenyang Pharmaceutical University.

Aside from the best wishes expressed by officials from the provincial educational department and universities, the forum invited a number of professors and students to share their latest breakthroughs, arousing great interest and heated discussion among the participants.

An awards ceremony was held on the sideline, with outstanding overseas students granted school-specific, Nanjing municipal, Jiangsu provincial, and Chinese government scholarships.

A school tradition, the forum is designed to stimulate the overseas students’ interests in scientific research and encourage mutual academic exchanges. The school will continue to adhere to the idea of openness and inclusiveness, and invite more overseas students to delve into the scientific world.
