Jiangsu gears up to develop proper education

Since China launched a 10-year program in 2010 to promote proper education among students and encourage their diversified development, Jiangsu, a province with traditional strength in education, has been forging ahead with great momentum.
The province has been at full speed while modernizing its education in recent years, and among the various efforts that have been taken, developing it in a more proper and targeted way, has gained the warmest response from the public.
Ge Daokai, director-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, shared his ideas on how to develop proper education with distinctive Jiangsu style at a symposium held with the same theme this June.
