Jiangsu University takes lead in overseas education

He also introduced the school’s efforts to develop its students’ academic interests, opening up 12 majors covering some 700 courses which are all delivered in English. Its Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery courses, in particular, have gained wide popularity among students from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
According to Yan, the school is now focusing on developing a sounder international talent training system, which will on one hand put emphasis on attracting students from a greater number of countries, providing them with more overseas study and exchange opportunities, and on the other hand establishing more down-to-earth cooperation with universities worldwide to pursue scientific and technological breakthroughs.
