University crunches data to find students the perfect roommates

According to a recent one done by China Youth Daily, 70.5 percent of the 1,355 interviewed students said they worried about dormitory conflicts, and 67.6 percent of them had considered changing dormitory.
Nanjing University’s new system has gone viral on social media, with many online commenters praising the system. “It’s so considerate and friendly; it should be promoted across the country,” wrote one netizen.
An undergraduate nicknamed Xiaoxia was also delighted to have a group of “night birds” for roommates.
“I no longer need to worry about disturbing my roommates [by going to bed late],” she said.
