Nanjing’s attractiveness is due to its rapid development over the years. Aside from its traditional advantages in economy, living environment and transportation, the city now boasts strength in emerging industries such as information technology, intelligent grid, and new energy vehicles. 

The national Jiangbei New District, three national development zones, 13 provincial-level development zones, and an integrated free trade zone have all contributed to the city’s attractiveness. 

Nanjing also provides various preferential policies to graduates, such as talent apartments, offering house rental and buying subsidies, which help ease the living and working burdens of college graduates.
