Ji Wei, an official from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, which organized the event, spoke highly of the students’ works.

“This handicraft, which has been treasured as part of the world’s intangible cultural heritage, is a good way to tell Chinese stories on the global stage. It also helps encourage frequent exchanges and build up friendships between young people from China and abroad,” Ji said.
