The fourth International Conference on Tourism and Hospitality was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on Oct 17 and 18, attracting 145 representatives from Belt and Road countries including Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Switzerland and India.
The Association of Indonesia Tourism Tertiary Education Institution and the Wuxi Education Association for International Exchange played host to the annual event, which focuses on global higher education problems. The conference also gained support from the Wuxi Institute of Technology, the organizer, and the ASEAN-China Center, an organization committed to facilitating good-neighborliness and mutual trust between China and ASEAN members.
This year’s conference edition was aimed at boosting international cooperation in tourism and hospitality management and promoting sustainable development of the tourist industry.
The participants enjoyed a free atmosphere to share their ideas and talked over the opportunities and challenges confronting sustainable tourism and education development from different angles.
