Gong Fanghong, head of the Wuxi Institute of Technology, delivered a keynote report on vocational schools’ active role in meeting the ever-increasing demands of high-quality education in Jiangsu and China.
He said it is educators’ responsibility to cater to various development appeals, such as economic restructuring, structural adjustment, industrial upgrading, and talent training.
His introduction to his school’s efforts in building characteristic majors, training professional teachers, strengthening school-enterprise cooperation, and developing a more open campus was widely appreciated by the participants.
