The 13th Jiangsu International Forum for School Principals which opened successfully in Los Angeles on Nov 9 witnessed the eastern Chinese province and its American partners’ pursuit for educational advancement.
Focusing on “Curriculum Development and School Culture”, the event was attended by several hundred education officials and school principals from the two sides.
Su Chunhai, deputy director-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, addressed the opening ceremony.
He introduced Jiangsu’s wide fame as a province with educational strength, as well as its determination to develop suitable education for every student since 2010.
“The Jiangsu-California International Education Center set up this July encouraged us to learn from our US partner, get inspired from its high-quality educational resources, and forge closer relationships between Jiangsu and American schools,” Su said.
