The multiple after-class activities, such as the traditional Chinese cooking classes, have offered him great opportunities to try his hands on preparing various dishes, such as jiaozi, wonton and zongzi, and also helped him make friends with many Chinese students and teachers.
JFPC has long placed emphases on cultivating international students and encouraged them to focus on developing both academic and artistic strength.
The students are required to spend their first year at JFPC learning Chinese and the following two years concentrating on academic studies. Experienced teachers, multitask by giving the students professional guide and instruction, and as well as inviting them to delve into Chinese culture to improve their understanding of China.
The school also organizes various themed activities such as the moon-cake-making activity held to celebrate the Mid-autumn Festival, the exploring trip to local urban planning museum, the bonfire music party, and the handmade-soap-making activity to enrich their campus life.
