The first session of 2018 Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) rounded off on March 24.
A test center at the Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange (JESIE), an institutional branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, saw some 34 students from 19 countries taking part in the exams.
The students, who were eager to challenge their Chinese fluency, were from countries such as Russia, Kazakhstan, India, Zambia, Nepal, Vietnam, South Africa and Nigeria.
The test was carried out smoothly, thanks to the proactive preparations made by JESIE, covering various aspects including examiner training and student practicing.
The second session of 2018 HSK will be held at the center on April 22.
As the largest professional comprehensive organization engaged in educational services for international exchange in China, JESIE adheres to a development pattern featuring “going out” and “inviting in”, as it on one hand endeavors to promote Jiangsu education at broader global stages, and on the other strives to attract more international students to Jiangsu.
