Violin-making has undoubtedly become Huangqiao's pillar industry, and the mayor was not shy about expressing her ambitions.
"We want to let the public know that the people of Huangqiao are not only good at making violins, but also experts at playing them and appreciating music," Wang said.
In addition to developing an interest in violins among young students, Huangqiao is also planning to develop itself into a violin-themed township, intertwining the town's instrument culture with people's daily lives.
"By investing five billion yuan, we plan to combine violin culture, innovation, education, and life experience, and double our production value by 2020," Wang said.
