Foreigners show singing and talent in Jiangsu

The 2018 "Shared Joy in Jiangsu" Foreigner Singing and Talent Competition drew to a successful end in Nanjing, Jiangsu province on Dec 9, with international participants staging 12 captivating shows. 

The annual event was organized by the information and foreign affairs offices of the Jiangsu Provincial Government and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education. 

More than 150 performers from some 30 countries and regions were in attendance, such as Russia, Ukraine, Indonesian, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Kazakhstan and the United States. 

The number of performers from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative has dramatically risen this year. They put on 12 shows to share their Chinese stories and understanding of China. 

The event finally rang down its curtain by announcing awards to participants for their popularity among the spectators, excellent shows, creative ideas, and singing skills.
