Eastern Chinese cities and provinces combined forces recently to hold a job fair targeting college graduates March 24.
The job fair, which took place at the Shanghai International Exhibition Center, reflected the determination of the Yangtze River Delta region, which includes Shanghai and Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, to enhance its overall attractiveness to competent personnel.
More than 200 local enterprises offered roughly 22,000 work opportunities to the graduates, making the fair the largest in attendees and categories since its initiation in 2009.
The fair has become a regional tradition, taking place every spring.
