An alliance engaging Chinese universities which are active in running joint schools with their Russian counterparts was established at the Jiangsu Normal University in Xuzhou, Jiangsu province, on May 15.
The alliance was initiated by a joint project between the Jiangsu Normal University and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, which was established in 2016 as the first Sino-Russian cooperative institution in China and also won support from the China Education Association for International Exchange.
Joint schools and programs have played a pivotal role in educational exchange between China and Russia, with more and more schools from the two countries engaging in the cooperative circle, and their educational standards and social influence continuing to escalate. This inspiring tide was reflected in the expectations of school representatives, who wish to make concerted efforts and release more vigor and vitality into Sino-Russian cooperative education.
