A delegation from Caulfield Grammar School in Australia visited East China's Jiangsu province on June 5, sharing educational perspectives with its Chinese counterpart.
Wang Chengbin, deputy director-general of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, received the delegation. Aside from extending a warm welcome to the Australian guests, Wang renewed Caulfield's prolonged connection with a local middle school and stressed the two sides' common responsibilities to counter global challenges, especially in the face of science and technology innovations like big data, artificial intelligence and 5G networks. He also pledged that the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education will remain committed to promoting educational and cultural collaboration between Jiangsu and Caulfield.
The Caulfield delegation expressed their gratitude for Jiangsu's consistent support and said more than 7,000 students and 220 teachers have visited Jiangsu since the two sides reached a cooperative deal in 1989. They looked forward to Jiangsu and Caulfield sharing more in-depth cooperation.
