Students from Qinghai enjoy summer camp in Wuxi

A group of 36 outstanding students from Huzhu town, Haidong, Northwest China's Qinghai province took part in a summer camp in Wuxi National Hi-tech District (WND) on Aug 7.
Sponsored by over 40 enterprises and individuals in WND, the event collected a fund of over 300,000 yuan ($42,462) and offered a tour focusing on technology and humanities to excellent students from poor families in Huzhu town.

During the opening ceremony, WND Deputy Director Qian Qian expressed his gratitude to all the donators and best wishes to the students. He hopes the event can encourage the students to study hard and create a successful future for themselves.
WND established a close relationship with Huzhu town in Haidong in 2017 and has since implemented a number of high-quality projects involving industrial poverty alleviation, culture, education, and medical and health care, worth over 4.8 million yuan in total.
