Chinese and international students at Nanjing Normal University (NNU) sang and danced to celebrate the New Year in Nanjing, Jiangsu province on Dec 18.
The night opened with Break Dance, a remix of Chinese traditional opera, folk music, and pop dance, heating up the atmosphere and showing spectators NNU's open and welcoming environment.
Chinese students staged a cross-talk show, bringing scenes to life about how their fellow foreign schoolmates learn Chinese, arousing much happy laughter and cheerful calls from the audience.
Frozen, a musical performed by international students, pushed the joyous night to a climax. They prepared various props, costumes, and stage scenery, which integrated with their skillful performance, inviting spectators into a vivid and beautiful fairy tale world.
The night ended with teachers at the school staging Life in the Preparatory Department, a sketch comedy in which teachers acted as their students to display their daily lives and extend best wishes to the students.
