Jiangsu to reopen schools from March 30
Schools in East China's Jiangsu province will gradually reopen according to grade, as the epidemic subsides in the province.
The province has not reported a new confirmed COVID-19 case for 31 consecutive days as of March 20.
Students in grade 9 and grade 12 will go back to school on March 30 to prepare for their university and senior high school entrance exams, according to the provincial educational department.
Students in other grades will return to school after April 7, while college students will return after April 13.
The exact time will be decided by the coronavirus control departments in each city and college in the province.
Meanwhile, institutions offering after-school training and child care services will be allowed to resume offline operations after the reopening of local primary and middle schools. The time will also be decided by local coronavirus control departments.
