Suman Education International, formerly known as the Jiangsu-Manchester Center for International Educational Development, is established in 2004 and based in Manchester, the United Kingdom. It specializes in cultural, educational, official and social exchange visits between China and the UK and has been working closely with Chinese and British educational authorities.

The center's businesses have been expanded into the following areas: continuing professional development (CPD) programs for visiting Chinese teachers, educational administrators, entrepreneurs and government officials; study tour for school students; undergraduate overseas immersion program; Sino-British joint education projects; educational guardianship and academic supervision; and other mutual educational and cultural exchanges

As the first overseas CPD training center for teachers for the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Suman has developed close links with Jiangsu local governments and is also a key member of the Sino-British Education Consortium, which promotes cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries. It is also working with over 160 universities, schools, and other educational institutions, professional bodies and organizations, and has helped dozens of schools to forge sister-school links, in order to lead and organize mutual visits and exchange programs.

The center is situated on a 3,000 square-meter space in southwest Manchester and is only two km away from the city center and 10-minute drive from University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University. It enjoys decent transportation network and, hence, is suitable for running a wide range of training programs as well as visits and research activities.
