Sister School Project
Program Overview
Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange (JESIE), an official branch of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, initiated the Sister School Project in 2013.
By utilizing high-quality international education resources and multinational education and exchange platforms, the project provides support to primary and middle schools in pairing sister school, carrying out scientific research, educational training, and student exchange.
So far, 169 primary and middle schools in Jiangsu province have signed MOU with 175 schools in overseas countries. JESIE plays the role of assisting schools at all levels to improve their international education exchange performance and contributing to the opening-up of Jiangsu education.
JESIE will continue to be committed to promoting inter-school bilateral exchanges between sister schools. The Sister School Project involves different programs including Jiangsu-Australia Sister School Exchange Program, "1000 schools, hand-in-hand" program, and other customized exchanged programs in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Finland.
