Students from Nantong College of Science and Technology recently carried out a three-day live-stream to help farmers from South China's Yunnan province sell agricultural products, according to local media.
Using the short video platform TikTok, the live-stream helped farmers from Baoshan city distribute their products and presented Nantong residents with reasonably-priced and good quality mangos and coffee beans.
Since 2018, students from Nantong College of Science and Technology have used their summer holidays to help farmers in Baoshan enhance their understanding of e-commerce and broaden their marketing channels. Due to the epidemic prevention and control measures which have been in place this year, students decided to work with them online.
