The Jiangsu Experimental Kindergarten in Lhasa, the capital of Tibet autonomous region, recently bade farewell to its first graduates, local media reported.
At commencement July 23, children excitedly wrote down their names on the signature wall, expressed their gratitude to the school, teachers and their families through singing and dancing shows, had their first graduation photos taken and received graduation certifications from the principal.
"I like playing with my friends and I also like my teachers very much. I don't want to leave them," said Wen Muran, a graduate.
Yang Jinxuan, another graduate, said teachers are like her mother because they give her great care and she loves them.
Many parents accompanied their children and captured the memorable scenes with their cameras.
"It was the first time for me to attend my child's graduation ceremony," said Yang Peng, a father. "I was deeply moved to see my child unwillingly saying goodbye to his teachers and I appreciated the love and care the teachers have shared with my child."
Following the principle of helping children grow up in a healthy, happy and enlightening way, the kindergarten has brought in advanced educational equipment and methods and trained teachers in an all-round way.
The kindergarten received funding of 28.92 million yuan ($4.17 million) from East China's Jiangsu province in 2018. Covering 5,782 square meters, the school can accommodate 450 students in 15 classes at the same time.
The school started running in August 2019 with the first seven classes of 194 junior, middle and senior-grade students.
