College students from East China's Jiangsu province gathered at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics on Nov 15 to showcase their expertise in dancing, local media reported.

The event gained the participation of over 3,000 students, who staged a total of 120 folk, classical, modern and contemporary dance shows, echoing the theme of efforts, innovation and dedication.

For example, one dance performance brought out the sense of cutting-edge technology; one show presented the confidence and positiveness of college students nowadays; and another show promoted the selfless contribution of people fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic.

The shows won high recognition from both professional judges and live audiences, who praised as integrating skills and elegance and realizing higher aesthetic levels.

The event has been carried out for the sixth time and all the previous editions - except the first one - were held at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
