A group of international students from Nantong College of Science and Technology received special flight attendant training on Dec 7 to celebrate the International Civil Aviation Day, local media reported.
They learned how to stand, sit and squat and got to know that every standard and elegant posture takes time and effort.
"I learned that it's not easy to become a flight attendant and having a good appearance, qualified education background, and a proper height and age are just the thresholds to the job. They took three years to practice over and over again, just to make sure their in-flight services and safety and security management," said a student from Uzbekistan.
"I used to travel between my hometown and China by plane and actually I've no idea about the efforts flight attendants have paid behind their elegant posture and decent smile. They are really admirable," she added.
