A tourist route across East China's Jiangsu province designed by three international students at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications was recently awarded by the Jiangsu provincial department of culture and tourism, local media outlets reported.

Zeineb from Monaco, Alexandra from Russia, and Steven from the United States were the three designers.

The students said they hoped their families and friends, as well as people from across the globe, would come experience Jiangsu via their route.

"We've done thorough research on places that are worth visiting. As we are not in Nanjing (the provincial capital), we had to do everything online," Steven said.

Zeineb said she has the full support of her family, friends, and classmates.

"They encouraged me to take the design seriously and have given me many practical suggestions. They also helped me promote the work and invited their friends to vote for me," Zeineb said.

Alexandra said she hopes the COVID-19 pandemic will draw to an end in the New Year and that she will be able to return to Nanjing to further her studies.

Zeineb said she has undergone significant self-improvement in 2020 and hopes the year 2021 will put everything on the right path. She wants to see her friends in Jiangsu and hopes the world will become a better place.
