Jiangsu universities care for stay-put students
Colleges and universities in East China's Jiangsu province have beefed up efforts to safeguard students who will stay put for the Spring Festival and enrich their holiday lives, local media outlets reported.
Changzhou University
Changzhou University invited 122 Chinese and international students residing at the school to try their hands at Chinese calligraphy on Jan 30. The school will also carry out interesting activities twice a week, including badminton, table tennis, watching the Spring Festival Gala, making dumplings, and solving lantern riddles.

Nanjing Normal University of Special Education
Nanjing Normal University of Special Education offered students a subsidy of 800 yuan ($123.9) per person and teamed up staff members at the security and logistics departments, clinic, teaching canter, and school canteen to answer students' needs and questions at any time.

Yancheng Teachers University
Students at Yancheng Teachers University were invited to make dumplings with school teachers on the Little New Year, which was usually celebrated a week before the lunar New Year. They also given medical kits and snack packs from the school, and toured the city with local students, such as visiting the China Sea-salt Museum.
