Universities in Jiangsu welcome new students
Universities in Jiangsu province have gradually begun the new semester. Students followed the the schools' COVID-19 control and prevention measures that are required to enter campus, such as having their health code checked and temperature taken.

A total of 4,091 freshmen started their studies at Southeast University on Sept 22.

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology welcomed more than 7,000 new students to the campus on Sept 18 and 19. The school has adopted updated information technology, which is able to check students' health code by facial recognition, as part of their COVID-19 control and prevention measures.

Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine welcomed 2,221 freshmen students this year. Each college prepared classical books and small gifts for the new students. The university has also arranged volunteers to offer pickup services at train stations.
