The final competition in the equipment manufacturing field of the 2021 Jiangsu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held at the Nanjing Institute of Technology on Nov 5.
A total of 30 innovation and entrepreneurship projects spanning fields such as intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, machinery, and aerospace competed in the final.
Six projects consisting of medical endoscope imaging systems, motor electrical systems, high-precision miniature 3D cameras, aviation piston engines, and distributed drive control technologies for new-energy vehicles were awarded the first prize. Ten projects won second prizes and 14 projects were awarded third prizes.
This year's competition focused on advanced manufacturing clusters, strategic emerging industries, and key traditional industries across the province, and held competitions in six fields, which consisted of information technology, equipment manufacturing, new materials, life sciences, agricultural technology, and food science.
A total of 180 projects out of 1,002 entry projects made the final competitions including high-tech projects, high-precision projects with great development potential, and projects that meet the needs for production and living with a wide application potential.
In addition, this year's competition offered entrepreneurship training and technology support in order to promote the matchmaking between the projects and industrial parks, companies, and investors as well as to boost the transformation of technology.
