Schools in East China's Jiangsu province held a variety of educational activities to teach middle and primary school students about legal matters and ways to protect themselves against hazards on March 28, which marked the 27th National Safety Education Day in China.

On this day, teachers at the Nanjing Zhongyang Road Primary school offered online courses that taught students about safety aspects related to six kinds of scenarios, including when they are at home, using electricity and in the event of a fire.

At the Huai'an Ecological Culture and Tourism Zone Experimental Primary School, traffic policemen taught students about traffic rules through a live stream, while the Suyu High School in Suqian invited police officers to conduct a lecture about the legal solutions for situations like school bullying and internet fraud.

At the Xiangyang Road Primary School in Jianhu county, Yancheng, firemen gave a lecture about fire-fighting equipment and guided students through a fire drill.
