The Changzhou College of Information Technology in Changzhou, East China's Jiangsu province has cooperated with three schools in Thailand – Chonburi Technological College, Udonthani Vocational College and Detudom Technical College – to launch educational programs to cultivate software and intelligent vehicle technology talents.
Both parties have jointly built overseas facilities, shared their courses and exchanged professors. The Changzhou college has also developed high-quality teaching materials that meet the Thailand schools' demands and offered education on Chinese language and culture.
To obtain a diploma, Thailand students need to complete three years of studies in a Thailand college and the Changzhou college. Outstanding graduates will have the opportunity to pursue further education at institutes in Jiangsu that have established friendships with the CCIT or work at overseas Chinese enterprises.
In the future, the CCIT will set up a team comprising Chinese and Thailand professors as well as design a series of English courses and intangible cultural heritage courses to groom international students with high technical and language skills and knowledge about Chinese culture.
