East China's Jiangsu province has in recent years been improving the quality of Party building in its universities to bolster the high-quality development of higher education.

In March 2022, 105 Party organizations in Jiangsu's universities were recognized by the Ministry of Education for their efforts and achievements in Party building. Among them is Soochow University, Southeast University and Nanjing University.
