Roshan Shrestha, who is responsible for enrolling international students at Nanjing Medical University in Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province, has been dedicated to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Jiangsu and his home country Nepal.

Shrestha first came to China in 2003 and has been in Nanjing for 20 years. He has contributed to cooperation between many universities and hospitals in Jiangsu and Nepal, established overseas alumni associations for three Jiangsu universities, and organized more than 30 international exchange activities.

In 2021, Shrestha was honored as an envoy of youth friendship by the Foreign Affairs Office of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Government.

As China recently eased its COVID-19 restrictions, Shrestha is planning to further strengthen international exchanges between universities and students in Jiangsu and foreign countries in the new semester.
