Universities in Jiangsu release report on graduate employment

Many universities in East China's Jiangsu province recently released reports on the career choices of their graduates.
The report by Nanjing University showed that as of the end of last year, 11.9 percent of its 2022 graduates had studied or worked outside the Chinese mainland, while 52.72 percent furthered their studies in domestic universities. More than 82 percent of those who have found jobs are now working in East China, with the top five destinations being Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shanghai, Zhejiang and Beijing.
In Southeast University in Nanjing, 60.65 percent of the 2022 graduates are pursuing further studies and their favorite schools are Southeast University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Nanjing University, and Tsinghua University. More than 20 percent of graduates are now working in the software, information transmission, and information technology services industries. The most popular employers among the university's graduates are Huawei, State Grid and ZTE.
According to the report by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, 49.66 percent of its 2022 graduates have chosen to further their studies. A total of 2,196 students chose to work in Jiangsu after graduation and most of them joined defense technology, civil aviation, and Fortune Global 500 companies.
At the Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, 42.96 percent of graduates furthered their studies. Students who majored in smart grid information engineering, surveying and mapping engineering have all found jobs.
