Many universities in East China's Jiangsu province have started the spring semester this year since Feb 13.
On-campus classes have fully resumed and parents are now allowed to enter the school premises following China's easing of COVID-19 measures late last year.
Several universities, including Soochow University and Nanjing Normal University, will hold the final exams of the last semester in the first weeks of the new semester. Southeast University is also providing online lectures to help students prepare for the exams.

To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, college students are required to undergo temperature checks every day for a week prior to returning to school. All universities have also built special health centers to treat students who have symptoms of COVID-19.
According to Tian Xiaoyuan, director of the student apartment services center of Nanjing Tech University, the school's health centers are equipped with beds, furniture, and daily necessities.
