The foreign affairs offices of Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province and the city's Hailing district organized an activity on March 3 that invited foreign teachers and students to learn about Taizhou's history, culture, and modern development.

The foreigners come from different countries including Tanzania, Cameroon, and Bangladesh. During the activity, they visited several places of interest such as the ancient Zhonglou (meaning "bell tower") Alley and the Qiaoyuan Garden, which dates back more than 430 years.

An international student from Indonesia and one from Ethiopia said they would love to tell their families and friends about Taizhou's history, culture, food and scenery to make the city known by more people.
