Jiangsu Ocean University in Lianyungang, East China's Jiangsu province held a series of job fairs from Feb 27 to March 4 to help more graduates find employment.

According to Luo Haihong, deputy director of the university's enrollment and employment department, the job fair on March 4 was its largest and more than 20,000 jobs were offered.

A special section for medical and pharmaceutical companies was set up at the job fair for the first time. Several companies, including Chiatai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Co, Sinopep-Allsino Biopharmaceutical Co, and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, also held their own recruitment events during the fair.

In addition, human resource and social securities authorities from Rugao and Hai'an – two county-level cities in Nantong, Jiangsu – had booths for their local companies at the job fair.

Jiangsu Ocean University has also organized many online job fairs for its graduates since last year. Courses and lectures aimed at helping students find jobs have also been offered.
