About 20 international students from Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology (NJUIT) were invited by the foreign affairs office of Qixia district, Nanjing, East China's Jiangsu province to participate in an exchange activity on April 21.
During the activity, they visited the service center, incubators and accelerators at the Nanjing Zidong International Innovation Park. Aimed at providing a favorable business environment to overseas talents, the park has attracted more than 1,000 skilled people.
International students also learned several Chinese poems about spring traditions and how to draw on kites. Ayomide David, a Nigerian student, drew his hometown. Although he has been in China for only a short time, David feels little strangeness now due to the beautiful environment and friendly people in Qixia.
The international education school of NJUIT and Qixia High-tech Industrial Development Zone unveiled an education base to help the university's foreign students understand China.
The foreign affairs office of Qixia will roll out a series of activities in 2023 to enrich lives of international students in the district.
