Overview: Located in the historic and vibrant city of Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, China, Jiangsu University (JSU) was founded in 1902 and has evolved into a comprehensive institution over its 120-year history.  It has over 40,000 students, including over 13,000 postgraduates and 2,300 international students for degree education. JSU is well-known among China's best institutions for its 18 bachelor's degree programs taught in English, distinguishing it from the competition. According to the latest ESI Ranking, JSU improved its ranking to 45th in 2022 among China's universities. In the World University Ranking of Times Higher Education (2022), JSU comes out Top 700 in the world. In the QS Asian University Ranking (2023), JSU is ranked 182nd. On ARWU Ranking, JSU ranks world Top 300.

In addition, JSU boasts 13 advanced academic disciplines (fields of study) ranked by ESI in the top 1% globally. Among them, Engineering and Chemistry are ranked in the top 1‰ globally. Besides, JSU has set up cooperation partnerships with 238 universities in 63 countries, especially with academically renowned universities.
