Overview: Jiangsu Health Vocational College (JHVC), founded in 1933, is a public health-related vocational college, which is located in the well-endowed historic and cultural city—Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. It is a provincial model vocational college rated as "Civilized Campus of Jiangsu Province", "A Model College for the Construction of Safe Campus in Jiangsu Province", "Garden-style Campus of Nanjing City", etc.

JHVC has over 10,000 full-time students and more than 800 teachers. The College consists of 7 schools, offering 22 medicine-related specialties. With advanced teaching facilities and modern practical training places, JHVC has 57 national, provincial and collegiate centers of on-campus experiments and training, 7,749 teaching and scientific research instruments, 322 bases of off-campus practice and college-enterprise cooperation, and over 300 affiliated hospitals, teaching hospitals, internship training and employment bases.

JHVC has been receiving international students since 2017. These international students come from Laos, Indonesia and other countries along the "Belt and Road". Some graduates have been employed in local hospitals in Laos or have been enrolled in other universities in China for undergraduate study.
